New Release - Whale Song (HQ Audio) performed Live!

In response to various requests for a HQ Audio version of Whale Song, I've recorded this new take + video.

An ode to my own watery Piscean nature, and dedicated to the Pisces Tribe on tribe.net The piece consists of a few different motifs about the whale, the song starts out with lonely whale calls from the depths echoing out into infinity, then changes to a floaty whale ballet theme section. The first guitar solo floats gently along the ocean tides. The second solo represents the rushing water as the whale dives deep into the depths.

Filmed live in The Green Room, here in my Secret Pleasure Garden.

I am working on a plan to promote indie-artists and bands in India - through various channels like direct marketing & club representation, etc. I am mostly looking at direct sales for CDs (min. 1000 pieces) through a well-knit network of music lovers, which I am in the process of developing. Basically I am open to any genre - which sounds good but is not commercial and yes, eclectic - becoz Indian music lovers are opening to new sounds. We'll test market in Clubs & then sell to a captive database of music afficianados in major Indian metros. Anybody who has or knows someone with great music to share - and who wants to capture the big Indian market, pls reply to me with details. Seeking filmmakers for music synch licensing

I'm a music producer with a large catalog of music in various styles. I would like to connect with filmmakers of all kinds in the hopes of placing some of this music in films.

I have had music featured on the Discovery Channel and in films by indy filmmakers such as Regina Robbins and Riley Morton. I've also made soundtracks for audiobooks, TV commercials, video games, websites, Flash animations and more. I'm open to pretty much any style althougn my specialty lies in electronic music. But I have quite a catalog of jazz, jingles and other acoustic music as well.

I will consider creating work for student / indy filmmakers free of charge if I can get copies of the film, or some kind of work-trade.

Otherwise I charge industry-standard rates, but rest assured I work very quickly and you won't be dissatisfied. Some of my previous clients for music production include Seattle's Experience Music Project, Michael Shrieve and Michael Carabello of Santana, up-and-coming Flash-animation guru Stefan Gruber and scientist/inventor Larry Spring.

We are currently accepting film submission for a half hour television show that will start at the end of March here in Phoenix . We are currently looking for short films between 1-30 minutes. You must own all rights to the film and if your work is selected you must be able to sign a release allowing us to air your material. Subject matter must be suitable for cable television broadcast.

The purpose of the show is to showcase local film makers and their work. All work will be considered, everything is expectable from experimental, narrative, drama, comedy, documentary and music videos. We are currently looking for aspiring film makers/hobby film makers who have completed short films they have produced and would like to get more exposure for their work.

- If you would like to submit a Video please send us your NTSC VHS, DVD, mini DV or a CD-Rom containing .avi or .mpg files. We also accept submissions in the following NTSC (US) formats:
Digital Betacam
DVC-Pro
DVCam (No 4 channel audio)
Full-size DV (SP only, No 4 channel audio)
Mini-DV

Make sure all TAPES AND CASES are labeled with your name, phone number and email address. We will need to contact you before your film airs.

Here is one I just did...Shot in 30 minutes ending up with 23 minutes of Dv tape with 6 minutes of song That I used, complete editing time 3 hours..
so thats what i had to work with and the time I put into it..
now consider that and the fact it was not planned just a rehersal for the band and a new camera for me...
